About Our Postage Rates

We do not charge any extra handling charges on our postage. For all parcel shipments we charge the rates found by using the Australia Post online postage calculator for each parcel. For all larger parcels requiring measurement we are now doing our best to include the parcel weight and measurement in our listings so you can check the postage rates yourself by accessing the Australia Post online rate calculator and entering the information for the parcel. In addition to the rate found, we must now add the $2.60 charge for registered post to avoid problems when items may not be received. (more on this below)

How to Pay for Your Postage

On Ebay, we are only allowed to show one postage amount to pay, therefore we have no choice but to show the postage for the highest rate distance from us (Tasmania and Northern Territory). In each of our listings on ebay now we are trying to show the postage cost to each of the major areas Queensland, New South Wales, ACT, Victoria, South Australia and West Australia. If you have won an auction or purchased an item. You can add the postage amount to your purchase price if you want to pay immiediately, but we will send you a corrected invoice for your order shortly after your purchase or as soon as possible if you'd rather wait a bit.

In the case of multiple items, in most cases we will be able to save you money by combining shipments wherever possible. If you have purchased more that one item please wait to pay until we send you the corrected invoice for the items.

 

Why We Now Use Registered Post for Most Shipments

We have shipped hundreds of dolls from here with no problems until recently. Somehow, in a single days shipment of dolls, both dolls that were going to New South Wales at seperate post codes, mysteriously 'vanished during shipping. We only then learned that somehow, something lost by Australia Post is viewed as 'our problem' and not theirs. Without using registered post or insured shipping, we learned that everyone feels that we should re-imburse the customers for items lost through no fault of our own. We certainly can not afford to be refunding money for hundreds of dollars worth of dolls that we posted in good faith. Using registered post we can protect both ourselves and you the customer. Items posted with registered can be tracked, receipt by customers can be verified and the goods are automatically insured up to $100 for no additional cost. We value our customers and promise to do all we can to help you, should one of your purchases somehow be lost during shipping.

How and When Is Your Package Shipped?

We pride ourselves on getting your packages to you as quickly as possible. In all cases, we will ship all packages on either the same day as payment is received or on the following business day.

All shipments are packaged well to make sure your purchase arrives in its original undamaged condition. We also open each package and inspect the products to make sure they are in good order as a last check before we post them to you. In short, we treat all our customers exactly as we would like to be treated. We don't like to order products and wait forever for them, or be disappointed when they finally arrive and are broken or defective and neither should you! In the rare instance you do have a problem, please contact us at once and we will do all we can to correct the problem.

Remember, we offer a money back guarantee if you are ever unsatisfied with a purchase for any reason, just return it to us within 14days in original condition and we will gladly refund your purchase price. Please note, due to the high cost of postage we can not refund postage costs. On a case by case basis though, we will be willing to pay return postage costs if there is something wrong with your product (a defect or broken)
